No Going
Back.

// THE SERIES

700+ amateur sailors. One race around the world. The point of no going back is the moment they cast off the dock.

The Clipper Round The World Yacht Race is the only ocean race built around non-professional crew. Each edition, hundreds of people leave careers, homes, and families behind to sail the planet on identical 70-foot ocean racing yachts.

This five-part series follows the 2023 to 24 fleet through the eleven-month circumnavigation. From the start in Portsmouth to the finish, through the Atlantic, Southern Ocean, Asia-Pacific, and back. We weren't there for the racing line. We were there for what it costs the people doing it.

Onboard reporters captured the race from the frontlines. Our land-based team followed the story through every stopover, on every continent. Eighteen months in the making.
