September 2018. Onboard time with Alex Thomson Racing during the IMOCA qualification season ahead of the 2020 to 21 Vendée Globe, the solo non stop circumnavigation that is the most demanding race in offshore sailing.

Alex was preparing the boat that would carry him through the southern oceans on his own. The work captured the rhythm of a campaign in build mode, tuning, training, and the long process of becoming ready.
