The story follows the creation of a professional sailing team built to take on the world's toughest round the world ocean race. The film follows the life of the newly appointed French skipper Yoann Richomme, as he struggles to keep their campaign on track during the global Covid pandemic. With the original race around the globe postponed, the team's new objective becomes the inaugural 3000 mile Ocean Race Europe.
Arriving as potential race favourites, the team quickly find themselves on the back foot early in the race. What unfolds is a dramatic and emotional journey behind the scenes as the new skipper struggles to keep his reputation and team intact and deliver what should have been a victory.
